I've been thinking a lot lately about my career. I'm just not sure that Software Development/Project Management is for me. I've always been interested in science and I've decided to pursue a career as a scientist. To be more specific, I'm going to be a MAD SCIENTIST!I've been dabbling in all the fields that you'd expect from a Mad Scientist. Robotics, Lasers, Alien Technology, you know, the basics. I've got a nice prototype robot in my secret basement lair and enough spare body parts to attempt my own Frankenstein.
I'll be attending the Annual Mad Scientist Association Convention (AMSAC) in Toronto in a couple of months. They used to meet in Las Vegas, but they decided that Las Vegas was too predictable a locale. Toronto is a city on the rise in Mad Scientist circles. Maybe I'll see some of my heroes there, such as Dr. Horrible.
